T'rinha has only been an actor for two years under the Mujikoza company, but he works diligently in both practice and show to deliver the best show possible.• A botanist? T'rinha has an affinity for gardening, more specifically flower arrangement and floriography.• A culinarian? Because of his opportunities travelling throughout Aldenard and Othard with Troupe Falsiam, T'rinha has grown to love the various foods of Eorzea. You can win his heart over with cooking!
Bio
Lore
T'rinha was envious of the scouting condors of his tribe, free to fly anywhere. The skies they traveled served as a reminder of how bound to the sand he walked. Destiny sings its tune, leading him to Troupe Falsiam. Watching the dance in Ul'dah resonated a warming comfort in him. Every step he adored beckoned him to join. The awe that poured forth from him was enough for the master of the troupe to grant him his wings. He could finally fly.A fledgling plunging head first into the unknown, T'rinha spent two years learning the ancient war dance of Kriegstanz under the guidance of the principal dancer, Nashmeira. With rose crystal of dancers past and steel chakrams in hand, T'rinha refined his craft, transforming his stories and memories into dance. Performance after performance garnered him fame across Eorzea for his mastery of storytelling. In his third year of traveling with the troupe, he was called on by Nashmeira to make Kugane his home as a dancer in the Mujikoza Theatre. In three years' time, T'rinha became known as the Camellia Prince among the Mujikoza audiences. Kugane's residents often described T'rinha's dances as "inviting like the arrival of an early springtime". Every dance he performed instilled solace and comfort for theatregoers to lay their troubles down without worry. While T'rinha may have a home in Kugane, he finds himself travelling wherever the winds carry him, telling the stories he gathers along the way to bring the spring once more.
Story
It Begins with a Step
Born on the outskirts of Ala Mhigo, T'rinha lived to make others happy. His mother taught him that one of the greatest joys in life was bringing joy to others. He did what was expected of him, helped those whenever and however he could, and joined in on the hunts whenever called on by the rest of the Tias.Years of hunting and guarding his tribe's territory during his childhood and adolescence made him adept in animal handling and lancer arts, but, much like the desert that he knew as home, life had started to become bleak to him. All he could do by himself was to stare at the sky, yearning to adventure its endless expanse. Was this all to life? He felt bound to the sand.On a courier job to Ul'dah to deliver almandine ores for a goldsmith, the question bore the most weight over those days. His armor felt heavier with every trudging step, and the sun was beating on him harder than usual. He stared at the constellations instead of sleeping.Passing the gates into the bustling city, absolutely exhausted by a journey that turned out more tiring than supposed to be, a sweet melody rang in his ears and led him to the aetheryte plaza. A crowd of people blocked the view of what could be his answer; entranced by song that gave him fleeting liberation, he pushed his way past the crowd. The Troupe Falsiam. A band of dancers that moved with grace and brought joy with every feather-like step. Every leap inspired him. Every spin felt free. As the accompanying band began a more lighthearted song, everything around him disappeared, the cheering crowd, the scathing heat, his worries. It was only him and a Miqo'te dancer that took the front of the troupe."Greetings, traveler. Come to see our little show, have you? On behalf of Troupe Falsiam, I welcome you."It was as if he had awaken from a dream. The Miqo'te girl was eye to eye. The dance troupe was helping the band stow away their instruments back into the cart. The crowd started to return to their daily lives. His ears shot up immediately at the realization that he was still staring at her and mustered an embarrassed nod in greeting."My name is Ranaa Mihgo, an apprentice dancer of Troupe Falsiam! You were quite awestruck! Might you be interested in learning to dance as well? Would you like to meet my master?" the cheery Miqo'te dancer smiled. Again, all he gave was a nod.
Story
En Avant
A Hyur woman approached Ranaa, leading T'rinha by the wrist. She carried a refined demeanor to her, years of practice in the art evident by even an amateur. The Eorzean sun couldn't warm the cold he felt as they moved closer"My, my! Now, who do we have here? I am Nashmeira, principal dancer and leader of Troupe Falsiam. Ranaa, the girl whose performance you were admiring, is my number one student and protégé," the Hyur greeted."My name is T'rinha, ma'am!", he said immediately."Ma'am? You don't think I'm that old, do you?" Nashmeira playfully asked, noticing T'rinha's ears tensely perked."Master Nashmeira!" Ranaa interjected, "This young man might be a good addition to Troupe Falsiam! What say you?"Master Nashmeira locked her eyes with T'rinha. Her warm gaze stared right into his soul. His tail drooped lower, bringing his ears to do the same. Being face to face with the Hyur woman made his cheeks turn red. One minute felt like a year had past."A bit too plain, but the wonder in those eyes tell me all about it. You fell in love with dancing, have you? I think you would make a fine member of this family," Nashmeira assured. The sky above him felt wider. A wide grin began to grow on T'rinha's face."Than-"Nashmeira, without missing a beat, advised, "Do keep in mind that we are travelers by nature of the job, very rare for us to settle down somewhere. If there is family that you have back home, I want you to talk to them. I'm sure that no matter how your family takes it, a goodbye is deserved. With that being said, it was a delight to meet you, and both Ranaa and I await your answer in Ul'dah!"Exiting the city state, he found him self staring towards the sky, anxious and comforted at how wide it was.
Story
To the Beat of Your Own Drum
Returning to his tribal enclave, The memories of his life in the tribe flashed before him. The weight of the water vases tired his arms, the condor caws rang in his ears, the scent of foraged greens filled his nose. The tent that he grew up in seemed smaller than he remembered. His mother was bringing back the water jug he made with her as a child."T'rinha, you're back! How was travel, oasi?""It was... fine...""Is something wrong, oasi? I know when there's something wrong...", his mother pressed.Sooner or later, his mother would have to know."Mama... I'm leaving the village to become a dancer. I will be gone." T'rinha barely mustered the courage to stand. Looking down to avoid the face of his mother, all he could feel was her hug."Oasi, it hurts my heart to hear that my little boy won't be here anymore... But it makes me so much happier knowing that you found your wings. Just know that mama will always be with you."He hugged her back in response. They stayed as long as they could, making sure that neither of them ever forgot each other once they let go.
The bustle of Kugane filled T'rinha with excitement. He had heard all about the Far Eastern city, but taking in the air was entirely different. The food stalls filled with food, the ocean breeze, the pretty clothes. Everything was a spectacle for him. He stopped to stare around the Kogane Dori Markets.A tug at his sleeve brought him back from his trance. Kaguya, a fellow troupe dancer that also was asked to act in Kugane, dragged him towards his new home, the Mujikoza.
